PURPOSE:To accurately calculate estimated time of arrival, etc., by correcting road condition information received by a receiver with traveling state information when wide difference exists between the road condition information and an actual traveling state. CONSTITUTION:The on-vehicle navigator is equipped with a receiver 8 to receive the road condition information to be obtained from an external part and a vehicle sensor 3 to detect the traveling state of a vehicle. Further, the device compares the road condition information received by the receiver 8 with the traveling state detected by the vehicle sensor 3 and corrects the road condition information with the traveling state information when difference >= prescribed quantity exists between the road condition information and the traveling state. Consequently, since the road condition information is corrected with the actual traveling state, the corrected road condition information becomes the accurate information closer to an actual road condition. Thus, the calculated value of the estimated time of arrival, etc., can be more accurate. |
