<p>The suspension unit for objects such as electrical fittings embedded in false ceilings, incorporates a locking member made of spring steel wire. The middle part of the wire fits into a catch is the unit. The two ends of the pieces of wire (7, 7') rest against a second catch in the box shaped housing (A), and against a fixed outer support, so that ends are stressed downwards, and the middle part upwards. The middle part of the wire forms a loop (6) which fits into an incision (10) in the top of the box (A). The incision is shorter than the outer diameter of the loop. That part of the sprung wire leading inside the box fits into a catch which is open at the top made in one of the vertical sides of the box. The part of the wire leading outside the box rests on a piece of the metal casing on the false ceiling.</p> |
