<p>The tilt cab for an agricultural tractor is extended towards the forward end of the chassis (15) by lengthwise side members (19). These are attached at the tilt axis (20) to a component (21) fixed to the non-suspended part of the vehicle, while the cab is secured to the rear of the chassis by elastic elements (14). The latter can be in the form of flexible buffers, or a torsion bar fixed rigidly to the cab at one end and at the other to a tube, at right angles to the tractor lengthwise axis. The tube has two levers extending rearwards and attached to links fixed to the non-suspended portion of the tractor. Cab movements are also reduced by a damper acting on the levers or links.</p> |
