The head for pneumatic-throwing foundry moulding machines, or so-called core-blowing machines, has, for closure of the top part of the cylinder (1) of the moulding machine, a movable device in the form of a funnel (3) with an internally hollow stem (4). Said stem (4) is connected at the top to a valve body (5) comprising an opening membrane (11) and a closing membrane (12) for the compressed air, and the conical part of the funnel (3) has perforated surfaces (13, 14) and small perforated cylinders (15) arranged between said surfaces (13, 14). In this way the cylinder filter and cleaning thereof are dispensed with. <IMAGE>
