PURPOSE:To freely install a remote control light receiving part into a set by setting this light receiving part in accordance with the end face of a front panel to receive the signal produced by the remote control oscillation light which is transmitted with the front panel used as an optical waveguide. CONSTITUTION:A front panel 31 is set opposite to the front of a screen 21 of the vacuum glass containers 9 and 22 storing such component parts like a back electrode 1, the screen 21, etc., and serves as a light receiving surface of receive the remote control oscillation light. A light receiving part 32 consists of a transistor which receives the signals produced by the remote control oscillation light transmitted with the panel 31 used as an optical waveguide and is prepared into a set opposite to the end face of the panel 31 and at a position slightly lower than a picture display part. Thus the remote control oscillation light is led to the part 32 from the end face of the panel 31. As a result, the part 32 can be freely installed into an idle space of the set and at any position around the panel 31. |
