<p>PURPOSE:To process an image-sensing output signal and thereby to enable reproduction and display of the signal as a visible image of a target substance in a display device by combining a laser light source with a light modulator and by modulating a laser light with a scattered wave from the target substance. CONSTITUTION:A light modulator (light modulator array 23) modulates a laser light generated from a laser light source 19 with a scattered wave 6 received by an optical antenna (array antenna 16). An emission of this light modulator array 23 is imaged on a light-sensing 27 disposed at an imaging position of an optical system 26. In other words, the scattered wave is imaged on the light- sensing element 27 in the form of being converted into the laser light. The image of a target substance 5 is obtained by subjecting the scattered wave 6 to Fourier transform, on the occasion, and this Fourier transform is executed in the optical system 26. A signal processing circuit 28 processes an output signal of the image-sensing element 27 and makes it displayed as a visible image of the target substance 5 in a display device 29.</p> |
