Digital switching system in computer controlled exchange - has input and output queuing facilities, and identification of input and output lines and channels

A digital switching network build connecting paths between any channel out of any number of incoming time division multiplex exchange lines, and any channel in any number of outgoing time division multiplex exchange lines, controlled by path connection devices in the switching network. Control devices have input waiting queues and output waiting queues which store in order of arrival processor input and output signals. The control devices process asynchronously each output signal, and use the switching network connection control devices in order to process a switching network path. An input signal is generated in the input waiting queue at the end of such operation, which shows the process steps carried out during processing of each output signal. Each output signal has a switching network identification information showing only the identity of incoming and outgoing lines and channels, concerning the switching network path.
