发明名称 PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC ELEMENT FOR TORSION TYPE VIBRATOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric element by combining the first and second split electrodes so that a line of electric force has a definite angle of inclination to a thickness direction between said split electrodes and applying polarization treatment thereto two or more times and subsequently connecting the respective electrodes electrically to form full-face electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The first and second split electrodes respectively split radially are provided to the first and second surfaces opposed to each other of a piezoelectric ceramic ring. The combination of the first and second split electrodes is selected so that a line of electric force has a definite angle of inclination to a thickness direction between both split electrodes and polarization treatment is applied to the split electrodes two or more times. Then, a plurality of the first and second electrodes are electrically connected to be changed to the first and second full-face electrodes. When AC voltage of frequency equal to the resonance frequency of the piezoelectric ceramic ring is applied between two full-face electrodes, the split direction of this ring and the electric field direction thereof cross each other so as to form a definite angle. Therefore, torsional vibration distorted in mutually reverse directions along the peripheral direction of the first and second surfaces of the ring is generated.
