<p>The structural door or window element has a frame comprising outside and inside profile pieces, connected by T-connections or cross connections. The outside (2a, 3a, 2b, 3b) and inside profile pieces (4, 5a, 5b) incorporates reinforcing inlays (9) in the form of hollow aluminium profile pieces, or similar metal profiles, partially or wholly sheathed in pref. foamed plastic. The connections (6, 7) are fitted with retainer blocks fitting in the inside profile pieces, and held by connecting screws. The screws' longitudinal axes run parallel to the profile pieces, to engage the retainer blocks and inlays. The attached inside profiles are inserted on the blocks and fixed by cross pins passing through inlays and blocks.</p> |
