The insulation block (11) is employed for supporting a busbar (10) from a C-shaped support rail (12) without the use of separate fasteners. The block has two rectangular sections (15, 16) arranged at 90 deg. to each other circumferentially. They are dimensioned to pass through the support bar opening (15) and are an elongated hole in the busbar (16) respectively. Each section is bounded by a cylindrical part (13, 14). The connection is made by inserting the rectangular sections into their appropriate openings and then turning the block (11) through 90 deg. The body of the block bears against flat surfaces on the rail and busbar to give a stable support.
