Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for managing data using multiple processors capable of reducing unnecessary consumption of current. According to various embodiments of the invention, an electronic device may include a first processor configured to receive data transmitted from an external device and a second processor configured to receive the data from the first processor. The first processor may determine a service or content corresponding to the data. When the data corresponds to a first service or a first content, the first processor may transmit at least part of the data to the second processor. When the data corresponds to a second service or a second content, the first processor may transmit at least part of the data to another external device for the electronic device. Other embodiments are possible.
