Press for dewatering stacked asbestos cement plates - has sandwiched water draining grooved plate with perforated cover and fabric

The press is used for dewatering of plates made from fibrous materials. Fibres are bonded by hydraulic bonding agents. The press is used especially for asbestos cement plates which are stacked with sandwiched intermediate layers. Pressing operation is rapid and plates can be separated soon after pressing. The intermediate layers (1) have dewatering channels (4) on their top surfaces. These channels of plate are covered with a perforated plate (6). The spacing of perforations rows corresponds to spacing of the channels in intermediate plate. Both plates are connected with screws for easy separation. A woven fabric covers the perforated plate and asbestos plate rests on the fabric. Water is drained from asbestos cement plate and this plate has smooth surface.
