In the feed of a treatment fluid to a yarn passing through a two-for-one twister, the yarn passes over an absorbent sintered section which is saturated with the fluid through a wick. The absorbent sintered plastic surface is in the form of a replaceable rotary body which rotates parallel to the plane of yarn travel, with an angular adjustment which can be set and locked in relation to its rotary axis. The design gives a component which delivers the treatment fluid to the yarn without wearing.
