Chromium-nickel alloy crucible - for holding lead or lead alloy melt, is lightweight and has long service life

The melting crucible for Pb and Pb alloys is fabricated from Cr-Ni alloys of known type such as DIN X12CrNiTi18 9 or DIN X5CrNi189. The wall thickness of the crucible is 6-10 mm. and those parts of the crucible which are in contact with the melt are heated to max. 550 degrees C. The crucible exhibits a longer life and is lighter in weight and requires less material than crucibles made of grey cast iron. Used for melting Pb and Pb alloys.
