GYPSUM BOARD PANEL HAVING DIATOMITE LAYER WITH TOURMALINE POROUS MEDIA AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a plasterboard panel of a novel configuration which combines a patented diatomaceous earth finishing material technology and a conventional plasterboard panel to maximize their respective advantages. The plasterboard panel includes a plasterboard panel and one or more diatomaceous earth finishing material layers laminated on a first or second surface of the plasterboard. The diatomaceous earth finishing material layers are included in at least one of the first and second surfaces of the plasterboard panel. In a preferred embodiment according to the present invention, the diatomaceous earth finishing material layers include: 10 to 40 wt% of diatomaceous earth; 2 to 5 wt% of limestone; 5 to 10 wt% of fumed silica; 0.3 to 5 wt% cellulose; 1 to 5 wt% of titanium dioxide; 2 to 5 wt% of a binder; 0.01 to 1.5 wt% of viscosity enhancing additives; 10 to 15 wt% of sintered tourmaline carriers supporting botanical extracts; and water for the remaining part.
