The support and coupling for a framework has at least two hollow profiled rods (1) made from e.g. aluminium with an axial hollow chamber (2) and two pairs of circular grooves (3). Such rods can be joined together by a coupling inserted into the hollow of one rodl. The coupling comprises two parts (5, 6) held in place by a screw (10) passing through the base of a groove. The ends of the parts extending from the rod have outer spherical surfaces (7) which are located in the similarly shaped groove (3) of a second rod. Use of such a spherical coupling enables the coupled rods to be adjusted at an angle to one another. |
