RF radiation gall stone breaking appts. - employs annular reflector with elliptical beams overlapping at axis of rotation
摘要

The method of breaking up gall stones or kidney stones, consists of subjecting them to high frequency radiation. An elliptical ring shaped reflector is used, which is rotated about a central axis. Its focal point may be located in an underwater transmitter and focussed onto the given focal point. The reflector may be formed so that two elliptical radiation paths which overlap, may be formed, the overlap being at the axis of rotation. Further the two elliptical paths may be at an angle so that the overlap occurs at a point further along the axis of rotation.
