<p>1530565 Apparatus for blocking arteries; oviducts &c EMSET OY 8 July 1977 [20 Aug 1976] 28791/77 Heading A5R Apparatus suitable for blocking a cerebral artery or an oviduct 5 comprises a catheter 4 supporting a hollow needle 3 which is arranged to penetrate the resilient self-closing plug 2 of a resilient inflatable bag 1 whereby the bag may be filled with X-ray opaque material. A metal clamp may be tightened around the neck of the bag after the introduction of the needle. The plug 2 is formed by dipping the mouth aperture of the bag into rubber solution.</p> |
