A cylindrical attachment (6) is fastened to each warp-beam end. Each attachment (6) is mounted in a bearing-shell element (3). The bearing-shell elements (3) bear on a guide surface (22) and on an abutment surface (21) arranged at an angle to the latter, which surfaces (21, 22) are each located on an arm (2) fastened to the weaving-machine stand. A clamping strap (9) mounted rotatably on the arm (2) by means of pivot pins (10) carries a sliding block (11) which has a concave bearing surface (11') matched to the circumference of the attachment (6). The clamping strap (9) can be pressed against the attachment (6) via a compressor spring (16) by means of a quick-clamping fastening (12 to 17) articulated on the arm (2), and the clamping strap (9) presses the sliding block (11), together with the bearing-shell element, against the abutment surface (21). The clamping strap is pivotable into a release position, in which the bearing-shell element (3) designed as a sliding shoe can be moved on the guide surface (22) for fitting and removal. The mounting described holds the warp beam securely and exactly in the predetermined position and nevertheless allows a rapid fitting and removal of the warp beam. The bearing wear can be kept low because of the large available bearing surface.

|
