PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the amount of purge gas supplied to an intake passage 30 as much as possible while suppressing deterioration of emission performance when purge is executed during deceleration fuel cut of an engine 1.SOLUTION: When purge is executed during deceleration fuel cut, the amount of evaporation fuel supplied to an intake passage 30 is estimated, and based on the estimated supply amount of the evaporation fuel, a temperature of an exhaust purification catalyst 52 during the execution of the purge is estimated. Based on the estimated temperature of the exhaust purification catalyst 52, a flow rate of the purge gas supplied to the intake passage 30 during the execution of the purge is controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
