of the disclosure: New meta-phemoxyphenyl propiomic acid derivatives and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof having excellent anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities with low toxicity are provided. The new compounds are adapted for therapeutical treatment of various inflammatory diseases by oral administration without injurious by-effects; successive administrations for an elongated period are not accompanied with as appreciable gastric irritability and the like.
