Steroids of the estratriene series of general formula (I) R1 = H, acyl, tetrahydropyranyl or N-phenyl-carbamoyl R2 = thiocyano, azido, cyano, mercapto, alkylmercapto, arylmercapto, acylmercapto, halogen, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyloxy, substd. amino (and its salts) or OH. The cpds. are biologically and pharmacologically active. 3-methoxy-17alpha-thiocyanomethyl-estra-1,3,5(10)-trien-17beta-ol (645 mg). |
