PURPOSE:To continuously mold a long honeycomb panel by a small-sized molding apparatus by a method wherein the strip like base material having surface materials each composed of a prepreg material laminated to the upper and under surfaces thereof of a honeycomb member is pressed and heated while fed stepwise. CONSTITUTION:The base material 1a of a honeycomb panel having strip like surface materials 20a, 20b each composed of a prepreg material laminated to both upper and under surfaces thereof is supplied to a continuous molding apparatus 50 along with release films 21a, 21b composed of polyester or polypropylene holding said base material 1a therebetween from above and below. The base material 1a is held between the upper and lower hot plates 52, 54 of the molding apparatus 50 to be pressed and heated for a definite time by the upper hot plate 52. After pressing is completed, the pressing force P of the upper hot plate 52 is brought to zero and the base material 1a is sent in an F-direction by an appropriate means. One feed quantity F1 is set to 12.5% of the length of each hot plate. Next, the base material 1a is stopped after feeding F1 is completed and pressing force P is again applied to the base material 1a by the upper hot plate 52 and, after pressing, the pressing force P of the upper hot plate 52 is again brought to zero to send the base material 1a in the F-direction. By repeating said process, a honeycomb panel product 1e is completed. |
