PURPOSE:To obtain light weight, non-combustible and high-strength concrete by mixing cement mixed with specific artificial inorganic lightweight aggregate, inorganic reinforcing fiber and water, molding, curing and hardening. CONSTITUTION:0.5-1.5 pts.wt. artificial inorganic lightweight aggregate (e.g., glass balloon) having <=500mu particle diameter is mixed with 1 pt.wt. cement, then inorganic reinforcing fiber (e.g. alkali-resistant glass fiber) and water are added to said mixture, thus blended and molded, then cured and hardened by ordinary method to afford light weight cement article having 0.3-0.8 specific gravity. |
