The equipment removes scale from direct-fired boilers, and comprises a union piece with thrusting plunger (3), and to which hose (4) is coupled. This leads to a filter (5) connected to the suction side of a self-priming pump (6), the pressure side of which is connected by a second hose (9) to a lance (12) of section and length such as to reach to the bottom of the boiler. The pump delivers at a pressure of 2 atmos at least, and on its pressure side valves (7, 8) are provided for water discharge. The filter can be of the removable sack type.
