PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component capable of ensuring high impedance value.SOLUTION: A common mode choke coil 10 as an electronic component includes a laminate 12. The laminate 12 is configured so that a plurality of insulating layers 28a to 28e and 31 are laminated in a thickness direction, and has a recess 30 depressed in a lamination direction of the plurality of insulating layers 28a to 28e and 31 provided therein. Two coil conductors 16a and 16b are provided in the laminate 12. The recess 30 is filled with a magnetic resin material 21. The magnetic resin material 21 is formed of a magnetic powder-containing resin made by mixing a soft magnetic metal powder with a thermosetting resin. The soft magnetic metal powder has an average grain diameter of not more than 12 μm. The magnetic powder-containing resin is a magnetic powder-containing resin made by mixing therewith the soft magnetic metal powder in a range of not less than 65 vol% and not more than 85 vol%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
