PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis system and an automatic analysis method with which it is possible to handle an emergency specimen while maintaining throughput for the analysis of a normal specimen in an automatic analysis system having a measurement port for performing individual measurement independently.SOLUTION: An automatic analysis system 1 comprises; a reaction vessel 22 for adding a prescribed reagent to a specimen that is a biological sample and accommodating the specimen; a detection unit 21 installed for each reaction vessel; and a control device 3, having an emergency specimen acceptance processing unit for accepting an emergency specimen, which creates, for a normal specimen measured by the detection unit 21, a normal specimen measurement schedule including an emergency specimen from a preset normal specimen measurement schedule on the basis of the number of emergency specimen inputted from the emergency specimen acceptance processing unit and/or an emergency specimen measurement time, at least before the emergency specimen is carried to the detection unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
