PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell that can properly perform emergency shutdown.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell system includes a reformer for reforming a raw material to generate reformed gas, a reformed gas passage through which the reformed gas generated in the reformer flows, a solid oxide fuel cell for generating power by using the reformed gas supplied from the reformer to an anode through the reformed gas passage and oxidant gas supplied to a cathode, and a valve which is located at an upstream side of the anode of the solid oxide fuel cell in the reformed gas passage, supplied with power achieved by power generation of the solid oxide fuel cell and makes the reformed gas passage intercommunicate with the outside when the power supply is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
