PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method of a magnetic field generating device having a structure that warping of a yoke does not occur at assembling and a main pole is hardly removed from the yoke in the magnetic field generating device to which a Halbach array is applied.SOLUTION: An assembly method of a magnetic field generating device comprises the steps of: preparing a main pole magnet having a magnetic direction non-parallel to a main surface; preparing a sub pole magnet having the magnetic direction parallel to the main surface; forming a first magnet unit by connecting side surfaces of the main pole magnet and the sub pole magnet in a lateral direction so that the magnet direction of sub pole magnet becomes the direction toward the main pole magnet; forming a second magnet unit by connecting the side surfaces of the main pole magnet and the sub pole magnet in the lateral direction so that the magnet direction of sub pole magnet becomes the direction separating from the main pole magnet; and alternately arranging the first magnet unit and the second magnet unit to a plate-like member in parallel while separating them in a direction that the magnet direction of main pole magnet provided in each magnet unit is opposite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
