<p>The closed dish for cooking food comprises a lower and an upper part, with flat top and bottom surfaces and vertical sides. The insides of the top and bottom flat surfaces are studded with rows of pyramid-shaped protrusions so that the area of contact between the dish and the piece of food being cooked is reduced. The edges of the sides of the top and bottom parts are turned over and shaped so that a seal is formed between the parts when they are put together. The dish can therefore be turned upside down at intervals during the cooking time without loss of the liquid in the dish.</p> |
