<p>The scaffold supporting frame is built up of plates and columns at right angles to their surfaces, there being coupling bosses secured at the plate corners, also at right angles to their surfaces, engaging with the columns. The bosses (4), over which the tubular columns (3) fit, can lie entirely inside the outlines of the plate (1). They can be of square section, and situated symmetrically in relation to the plate top and bottom faces, being secured in place by brackets (5) midway between these faces. The column wall thickness is equal to the width of the gap between boss and plate.</p> |
