The present invention relates to a cup holder for a vehicle easy to install in an indoor space of a vehicle by reducing a volume while simplifying a configuration of the cup holder installed in the indoor space of the vehicle and holding a beverage cup or a beverage can. A gear shaft (12) wherein a pair of holding arms (36) holding the beverage cup and a semi-circular gear (13) are inserted and rotated is formed in a slider (34) with a front cover (33) in a front side. The semi-circular gear (13) formed in one end of a rotary stand (11) is inserted into the gear shaft (12). The other end of the rotary stand (11) is connected between a pair of supporting plates (10). When the rotary stand (11) moves downward, a pair of the supporting plates (11) is positioned in a lower side of the holding arms (36), and when the rotary stand (11) moves upward, the supporting plates are positioned in left and right sides of the front cover (33). A receiving box (32) with a front frame (31) on the top is formed to receive the slider (34), so the supporting plates (10) are positioned in the left and right sides of the front cover (33) by being inserted into the front frame (31) without being received in the receiving box (32) when the slider (34) is received inside the receiving box (32). Thus, a volume of the receiving box (32) can be minimized. Accordingly, limitations due to an installation space inside the indoor space of the vehicle can be minimized. |
