1455218 Milking machines ALFA-LAVAL AB 30 July 1974 [11 Oct 1973] 33613/74 Heading AIM [Also in Division G3] The vacuum level in a machine milking plant is controlled by a device in which an increase in vacuum separates a pilot valve 4 from its seat 3 to decrease the pressure in a pipe 15 and above a diaphragm 18 to lift an air admission valve 26. A filter 13 and an adjustable needle valve 10 allow air to bleed past the valve 4 into the system under normal conditions. A screw 9 adjusts the load on the pilot while a joint 29 permits the valve 26 to be self-aligning. The pilot valve may be loaded by a weight. |
