Linearity error reduction of voltage frequency converter uses control unit, integrator comprising amplifier and in parallel connected capacitor and comparator. An ohmic resistor (6) is connected in series with the capacitor (5) of the integrator. The resistance value includes delay time, which is caused in the converter, and the capacitance of the capacitor (5). The ohmic resistor (6) is a variable resistor. Current (6) which is proportional to the voltage to be converted, flows to the input of a control unit (13). The output of the control unit is connected to the input (3) of an integrator. It has a second input (2) which is earthed.
