<p>The frog point for railway track consists of two side rails for the tongue attachment (PLG, PLD) which are welded together along their flanges (3). The flanges(3) are machined along their contact surfaces. Two rails (CPG, CPD) are connected to the frog-point, and are joined together at their flanges and at their heads which have been machine-worked on their facing surfaces. The two rails (CPG, CPD) are joined to the flanges of one point which is joined at the side of the base to the flanges of the other two rails (PLG, PLD). The flange of the point is joined to the ends of the two rails (CPG, CPD) by means of flash-welding.</p> |
