The fork lift truck for stacking goods in warehouses can operate in gangways of only 1.15 metres wide. The machine has a base frame(1) mounted on four wheels(5). A vertical frame(2) has side members which form guides for the framework(3) which supports the driver's cabin and the loading platform(8). The loading platform(8) has telescopic forks which can slide laterally in either direction to stack or remove goods. electric motor(4) is supplied with current either from an overhead rail or from accumulators. The accumulators enable the machine to be used outside the warehouse. the machine can be held stationary by means of retractable feet(9).
