PURPOSE:To make possible safe clutch engaging operation and traveling by installing a restraining device to restrain the connection of clutch by an automatic gear shifter with an obstacle sensor which detects obstacles within a certain distance in advancing directions. CONSTITUTION:Rear wheels 6, etc. are driven with an engine 5 through a clutch 1, a main gear shifter 7, a sub-gear shifter 8, etc. As for obstacle sensors 3, obstacles on the surface of a field in the front are detected by an obstacle sensor 3F at the front when driving ahead while obstacles at the back are detected by an obstacle sensor 3R at the back when driving backward. When the speed change switch of an operating part 26 is pressed, a clutch cylinder 20 is actuated to disengage a clutch 1 once. If this was detected by a stroke sensor 22, speed change gears are operated with the speed change cylinders 15, 16 of a main gear shifter 7 or a sub-gear shifter 8. If this was detected by stroke sensors 18, 19, the clutch 1 is engaged. If any obstacle was detected by the obstacle sensor 3 while the clutch 1 is disengaged, the clutch 1 is prevented from being engaged by a restraining device 4. |
