The side wall when viewed from the inside incorporates has wave troughs below which project inwards as well as wave tops with their wall thickness increasing towards the bottom whilst the overall wall strength remains about the same. The object is to increase the conveyor load or output by p ermitting stacking of goods along the side walls of the conveyor and conveying such stacked goods past changes in direction, bends etc. Pref. the wall thickness of the crests only increases outwardly, the inner side of the crests being in a plane normal to the conveyor. The extent of the flats of the crests and trough is the same.
