The grill plate has a rectangular base which has renewable bars. The base has an opening for the fitting of the replaceable bars and a groove and ribs which act as guides for the wearing parts. The grill is made from cast iron which will withstand mechanical and heat loads imposed upon it. The wear plates are made in two sections formed in such a way that either part may be replaced without disturbing the other.
