<p>Measurement of length of trawl lines for deep sea fishing is made in order to position one w.r.t. another and to determine how much is in the sea. Measurement is made by calculation from pulley rotation. A trawl line(3) is driven by two pulley(1, 2) mounted on a sliding element (5) on a shaft(4). On this sliding element a bar(6) is firmly attached and onto which a counter(18) is mounted on a plate(7). An adjuster(10) enables the counter to be positioned. A stop(9) on one pulley drives the counter operating lever(8) and is arranged such that one rotation of the pulley records a metre length of line.</p> |
