Solid fuel boiler for agricultural use - has inclined feed plate with pusher between fuel hopper and grate

The boiler has a fuel hopper with a cylindrical upper section and a conical lower section. There is a lenghtwise opening in one of the sides of the conical section. Fuel drops from this through a vertical chute which is bounded by water cooled sides on to an inclined plate. The plate slopes down to the grate which forms a continuation of the plate. A pusher at the upper end of the plate is given a reciprocating motion by an electric motor through a rack and pinion gear. The pusher is water cooled and has flexible connections for the flow and return of the water. A fan introduces primary air below the grate and another fan introduces secondary air above it.
