Motor caravan with elevating roof - has access to folding sleeping accommodation on top of roof by steps in rear of chassis

The motor caravan has a gap in the rear section of the roof, with an elevating roof section to increase the headroom. When extended the front, covered section of roof forms a sleeping platform reached by steps (8) in the rear part of the chassis. The steps cover storage lockers and lead to a standing area with full headroom when the roof is raised. The standing area is surrounded by the cooking and washing facilities. The whole assembly collapses into a minimum of space for transport.
