A puppet doll has a torso, head and movable arms, the arms being hollow and of a size for receiving the arms of an actual person, such as a child, for moving the arms relative to the torso. An aperture (54) is provided at the juncture of the arm and torso on the back side of the torso so that a person can position himself behind the doll's arms. The arms pref. terminate in hollow hands which receive the hands of the user, and may be fabricated of flexible material to facilitate grasping of exterior objects.
