The cover of a door bell system includes a loudspeaker aperture and an illuminated push button pad. The rectangular section facia has a louvre type top section that covers the system loudspeaker. A middle section (10) provides the housing for the actuating stage (20). This locates on two projecting sutds (16, 17) and has a circular section part (21) that passes through an opening in the facia. Operation of the actuation pad causes a contact to be closed. A small bulb is also located behind the actuation pad for night-time use.
