<p>In sepg. fabric sections from each other, where they are held together by threads which melt, heat is applied to melt these threads to allow accelerated rollers to pull the separate section out while slower rollers tend to hold the unsepd. section back. After heat has been applied to melt the holding threads, vibration is applied to the material so that the sepd. section is thrown upwards to tear the molten threads. The process gives a clean sepn. of longer fabric sections, so that no finishing is required for the edges.</p> |
