Instant vegetable and mushroom soup powder is produced by drying and fine grinding, (esp. to 100-250 mu), followed by pressing the finely ground substance at high pressure (esp. 1-2.5 t./cm2) to large slabs. The pressed mass is finely cut up into granules. The powder requires no further cooking and boiling water is sufficient to convert it into soup. By adjusting pressure, granules or flakes may be left. |
