A central heating system installed in a building is provided with a regulating device which includes a summator 5 which provides a signal S2 indicative of the algebraic sum of the instantaneous heat gains (A) and losses (D) of the building. The signal S2 is fed to an integrator 1 which provides at the end of a sample period a signal S1 indicative of the nett heat loss or gain over the sample period. A control logic 3 controls the heat supplied by the system to the building in response to the signals S1, S2 in such a manner to balance the heat losses and gains over successive sample periods of the integrator 1 and also so as to tend to balance the instantaneous heat losses and gains. <IMAGE> |
