GRP roof panel for small cars - to provide a lightweight rigid roof which is easily removable

A detachable roof panel made from glass fibre reinforced resin is shaped and provided with jaws and (six) clamps to suit attachment to the open tops of '2CV' and 'Dyane' motor cars (RTM - Citroen). The leading edge of the panel is lined with a rubber seal. A removable ancillary panel permits ventilation. The fittings involve use of studs or nuts partially immersed in the moulded panels for securing shaped loose clamps.
