Double salt of copper alkyl phenolsulphonate and basic calcium - useful as agricultural germicide

A double salt of a copper alkylphenolsulphonate and basic calcium such as of formula I, is new: Cu(APS)2 Cu(OH)2 x Ca(OH)2 y (I) (where APS is an alkylphenolsulphonate radical; x is 0.3-0.6; and y is 0.05-0.8). The double salt is an agricultural germicide and has a strong resistance against wasting with water and excellent adherence to plants.
