Cylindrical cheese mould - with support mats on both sides of bottom surrounded by radial slots

Cheese mould consists of a cylindrical shell and a closed bottom. Grooves in the shell above and below the bottom are used to accommodate inserted mat discs. Radial slots along the periphery in the plane of these mats allow the whey to escape. Arrangement prevents the adhesion of the cheese to the mould bottom, yet does not obstruct the egress of whey. By designing the mould suitable for stacking, the mould with the mats on both sides of the bottom can be used upright or inverted.
